Apologizes to fans who may have been offended and 'still cool' with Kobe

Shaquille O'Neal issued a statement through ESPN's Stephen A. Smith regarding his controversial freestyle video which has been spreading like the Phoenix Suns offense all over the Internet.  "I was freestyling. That's all," Shaq told Smith. "It was all done in fun...I'm totally cool with Kobe."

The controversial footage features Shaq freestyling at a party for rapper Cory Gunz, Sunday night in New York City. During the freestyle Shaq goes into a hook saying, "Kobe, tell me how my ass tastes."

The freestyle has other scathing words towards Shaq's former teammate and even a line directed towards legendary NBA big man Patrick Ewing. But Shaq was also quick to point out his reputation as a freestyler precedes him. "And by the way, don't forget, six albums, two platinum, two gold. Anybody who knows me knows I'm a funny freestyler."
