Netflix addicts are waking up to a sad discovery this morning.
May 1 will forever be remembered as the day that the streaming movie library lost nearly 2,000 movies from its archives. Hundreds of films from Netflix' massive Warner Bros. library, including pre-1986 titles from MGM and United Artists are now gone. Many of those titles will now be available at the Warner Archive Instant, a new classic film service.
In total, 1,794 older movies from gone from Warner Bros., MGM, and Universal have disappeared. Netflix is also currently testing a several new interfaces.
