Undrcrwn has been tapping rap kings for their latest designs, but this time they’re channeling the King of Pop.

The apparel line has called on legendary Philadelphian DJ Jazzy Jeff for a Michael Jackson tribute mixtape, and an animated Jeff and Jackson T-shirt inspired by Jazzy Jeff and Will Smith’s 1988 classic He’s The DJ, I’m The Rapper.

The mixtape, Undrcrwn Presents DJ Jazzy Jeff: He’s the King, I’m the DJ, will be released today through Undrcrwn’s website. It features Jeff’s interpretations of the MJ classics “Man in the Mirror” and “Never Can Say Goodbye,” among forty-seven other renditions.

The partnership falls into Undrcrwn’s current aggressive campaign to melt artists with their fashion. Most recently, they released their current autumn season line of Mos Def collaboration shirts. And just last week, the clothing brand unveiled Michael Jordan-inspired sweatshirts. –Linda Hobbs
