Michael Jackson has yet again made history this year.

The late King of Pop pulled in a stellar four awards at Sunday’s 37th Annual American Music Awards in Los Angeles, which aired on ABC last night (Nov. 22).

While not there physically, but in spirit, Jackson was lauded by fans who voted in massive numbers to provide him with a record 23 wins–the most for a single artist in the history of the American Music Awards.

Amongst Jackson’s wins were Favorite Soul/Rhythm & Blues Male Artist and Favorite Soul/Rhythm & Blues Album for “Number Ones”.

Jermaine Jackson, accepting the awards for his late brother, thanked supporters for keeping Michael Jackson’s memory alive.
