Chris Brown’s Graffiti Set For Week’s Top Debut
Chris Brown’s third studio album Graffiti is poised to earn the title of being next week’s top debut on the Billboard 200.
Projected to arrive on the chart with close to 100,000 copies moved, Brown’s anticipated album is expected to top totals from hip-hop stars Snoop Dogg, Gucci Mane, BG and Clipse.
Featuring the hit singles “I Can Transform Ya” and “Crawl,” Brown’s Graffiti arrived in stores Tuesday. Since its release, Graffiti has garnered mixed reviews from sources including The Los Angeles Times, Slant Magazine and Entertainment Weekly, the latter of which gave the album a ‘B-‘.
Graffiti follows Brown’s mega hit sophomore effort Exclusive which spawned the singles “Wall To Wall,” “Kiss Kiss,” “Take You Down,” Forever,” and “Superhuman”. The album also aided Brown in snapping up Artist of the Year at the 2008 American Music Awards.
Graffiti is now available in stores and at digital retail.
