#8. The Matchup: Boston Celtics guard Danny Ainge versus Atlanta Hawks center Tree Rollins

The Date: April 24, 1983

The Fight: During a first-round series game between the Celtics and Hawks, Ainge tackled Rollins after catching an elbow from the big man. During the scuffle, Rollins bit Ainge’s finger.

The Aftermath: A newspaper headline that read “Tree Bites Man.” Rollins was also ultimately suspended for five games for the incident.

#7. The Matchup: Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard versus Philadelphia 76ers center Samuel Dalembert

The Date: April 28, 2009

The Fight: During Game 5 of a first-round series between the Magic and Sixers, D Howard launched his right elbow at an unassuming Dalembert after Rashard Lewis of the Magic made a basket. Dalembert did not react to the elbow and a technical foul was called immediately.

The Aftermath: Howard received a one-game suspension and missed Game 6 of the playoff series.
