The Skit: “The $20 Sack Pyramid (Skit)” from Dr. Dre’s 1992 solo debut, The Chronic
The Punchline: Contestant: “I know Doc…Dre gonna do my music…Snoop and me, we go to the swap meet.” Snoop Doggy Dogg: “Oh! Oh, I know, I know! Things that niggas be sayin’ to get the pussy!”
The Bottom Line: As if The Chronic wasn’t great enough off the strength of the music, Dre also included this skit that showcased Snoop’s sense of humor and took a shot at Dre’s former foe Tim Dog. Ouch.

The Skit: Pimp Trick Gangsta Clique skit on “Return of the G” from OutKast’s 1998 album, Aquemini
The Punchline: Store owner: “For $16.99, I’ll give you that new, new OutKast. Ain’t come out yet.” Guy: “No, no…first they was pimps, then they was some aliens or some genies or some shit.”
The Bottom Line: Remember when OutKast wasn’t one of the most beloved groups in hip-hop? Yeah, us either. But the silly, self-deprecating skits on Aquemini sure help.

The Skit: “School Spirit (Skit 1)” from Kanye West’s 2004 debut, The College Dropout
The Punchline: Student: “No, I’ve never had sex, but you know what? My degree keeps me satisfied! When a lady walks with me and says, ‘Hey, you know what’s sexy?’ I say, ‘No, I don’t know what it is, but I bet I could add up all the change in your purse very fast.'”
The Bottom Line: Proud to have a college degree? Don’t listen to this skit. Or the one after it. Or the one after that. Then again, the album isn’t called College Dropout for nothing.
