If you’re a music fiend, there are plenty of hip-hop songs that you can play this Sunday to honor your mom on Mother’s Day. There are classics like 2Pac’s “Dear Mama” and Ghostface’s “All That I Got Is You,” more recent attempts like Kanye West’s “Hey Mama” and Jay-Z’s “Blueprint (Momma Loves Me)” and even some unexpected choices like Yung Joc’s “Momma” and Plies’s “Runnin’ My Momma Crazy.” Feel free to play any of them to help express your appreciation for your ol’ lady.

But every song with the word “Mama” isn’t right for Mother’s Day. And there’s a good chance there are plenty of other songs in your MP3 collection about mom dukes that simply shouldn’t get any burn.
