10 Rappers Accused of Stealing Songs (Pg. 4)
The Mainstream Song: “What You Know,” from T.I.’s 2006 album, King
The “Stolen” Song: “Reverence,” by Los Angeles rapper Motoe Blizzid
The Case: In early 2010, Blizzid sued T.I. for using part of his 2004 song to create the lead single from his King album.
The Evidence: The song doesn’t exist on YouTube and Blizzid has refused to grant interviews to the media, instead using a blog post on his MySpace page to direct all questions to his lawyers. That said, if we can’t find the song, how’d Tip get his hands on it?
