Boss Vixen: Oprah Winfrey Gets A Chicago Street Named After Her

On May 25, it’ll be time to say farewell to an exciting era led by none other than Oprah Winfrey but not without a stamp in Chicago that solidifies her mark– her own street.

Oprah Winfrey Way has been presented to her by the Mayor of Chicago, Richard M. Daley, and will replace the 100 block of North Carpenter Avenue, where HARPO Studio is located. Her “effect” has reached millions of viewers and had resulted in her OWN (pun intended) network, her own magazine and an endless list of tasks and life-changing experiences.

This is a much deserved achievement! Vixens, get your tissues ready. For certain, this will be a tough goodbye!
