Last night (July 25), Atlanta’s Young Jeezy celebrated the release of his street classic Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101 with a special concert in New York City, performing cuts from the album. Released in 2005, the release put Jeezy on hip-hop’s sonar thanks to his brutally honest trap raps mixed with blue collar sensibilities

With the weed smoke thick and ocean of black tee soldiers waiting patiently for the Snowman’s return to the Big Apple, the lights cut out around 11:00 PM at the Highline ballroom in the Chelsea district of Manhattan. A full band backed Jizzle and absurd jewelry dangled from his neck as the bass kicked in for “Standing Ovation.” Jeezy commanded the crowd from the jump, but things turned into a blizzard when the first special guest graced the stage. The evidence is above.

TM103 is officially scheduled to be released on Sept 20th.
