Rihanna to Shoot ‘Coming Home’ Documentary While In Barbados
It looks like the ‘Loud’ tour is about to get a whole lot louder! News surfaced today of plans Robyn ‘Rihanna’ Fenty has to shoot a documentary while making a tour stop in her native country of Barbados. A joint effort with label RocNation and Barbados Tourism Authority (BTA), the documentary is called ‘Coming Home’ and will document the bajan princess’ homecoming leading up to her scheduled performance on Friday, August 5th which will be incorporated in the documentary as well:
“Aspects of the concert will be included in a video documentary which forms part of the $4 million deal reached between the Barbados Tourism Authority and Rihanna’s production company, RocNation,” explained BTA chairman in a statement to press.
Proving there’s no place like home, Rihanna has already been spotted on the island since her arrival this past weekend, shopping and spending time with family and friends. She also took to Twitter, expressing her elation and joy of being home: ““My home, my country, my people….BARBADOS!!! #1LOVE #SWEETfahDAYS NOTHIN’ BETTER! #RihannaNavy Miss u guys tho”
