Dolce & Gabanna Brings Italian Cinema To Madison Avenue For FN
This season’s FNO is rounding up to be one to look forward to as well-known designers break out their flashiest in fashion surprises. For this year’s big night, Dolce & Gabanna on Madison Avenue has tag-teamed with Italian cinema to give attendees a taste of some of the most avid movie clips from the Criterion Collection. Prepare to feast your eyes on glimpses of “Divorce Italian Style,” “Mamma Roma,” “Senso,” and “The Leopard” – all edited by Alan Lowe and produced by David Tedeschi.
The program is set to take place in conjunction with Pencils of Promise (a benefit organization whose mission is to “builds schools in the developing world and trains young leaders to take action at home and abroad”) and will center around D&G’s sexy new Passion Duo Lipstick.
Think it can’t get any better? With DJ Ruckus, Hannah Bronfman and Asher Roth already on the musical line-up, Pencils of Promise plans to have a surprise celebrity host, as well as a handful of other well-known faces to make up what they’re calling a “star-studded event committee.” – Stephanie Long
