NYFW: Fashion Night Out Around The World
New York Fashion Week gets no better than Fashion Night Out. The kickoff to the week-long celebration of fashion removes some the exclusivity found at the tents and allows everyone to take part in the stylish festivities. Designed by Vogue’s Anna Wintour in 2009, Fashion Night Out combines fashion, celebs and an all-around good time.
With over 1178 venues participating in Fashion Night Out, there is a little something for everyone. If you think this is strictly an NYC thing, you are mistaken. Major cities around the world will be partaking in Fashion Night Out. And if that is not enough, there are several viral FNO events too. Below are some of the hottest fashion night out events outside of the Big Apple! -Leonisa Johnson
Two of the cities Macy’s locations will allow for you to get the most out of your Fashion Night Out, without tons of traveling. Kelly Osbourne will be making a personal appearance for Material Girl while Kiva is featuring a pampering station. You can check out local Chicago designers Eric Kipp Custom, Gidi, Cettina, Crystal B. Designs and a few others as well. If that doesn’t suit you, Saks Fifth Avenue will be hosting shoe designer Brain Atwood and his newest line.
The A.T.L. will be offering several pop-up shops to choose from. This means several parties, runway shows and plenty of goodies! Places to check out will be Atlantic Station, Jefferey Atlanta and Midtown Mile. Not to mention the Coca-Cola Store, which will be showcasing the 2011 designer collaboration in celebration of their 125 year anniversary.
You might want to catch Sex And The City stylist Danny Santiago as he hosts the Decades of Passion for Fashion Runway show at the Aventura Mall. Also, enjoy some pampering while Pitbull’s producer DJ Affect spins some tunes at Neiman Marcus.
