177 Arrests Made In NYC Due to Occupy Wall Street’s City Take Over

Approximately 177 people have been arrested during clashes between police and Occupy Wall Street demonstrators in New York City. Portestors planned for mass gatherings today in various parts of New York City including the subways, certain bridges and other parts of the city but it’s not just a movement in the Big Apple.

Thousands of protesters took to the streets around the United States, including Los Angeles, Dallas, Portland, Ore., to mark two months since the movement’s birth. Protests were initially supposed to be peaceful but things got ugly fast. Watch:
