V Exclusive! French Montana Reveals Unreleased Max B Collabo for Bad Boy Debut Album
As French Montana’s brand new visuals for his “Shot Caller (Remix)” (feat. Rick Ross and Diddy) continues to climb up the 106 & Park countdown, VIBE couldn’t help but wonder what the BX Bomber has in-store for his Bad Boy debut. Read on for an update on Big Apple’s next up.
VIBE: So this album, everybody is waiting for it. How far along are you with the project?
French Montana: Right now, we already got a lot of tracks to pick from and tighten up to make sure it’s a masterpiece.
Producer-wise, I know you already mentioned some big names. Are there any big secrets you can let us in on?
For now, definitely Harry Fraud, Lex Luger. Southside, J. Cardim, Young Los, Dame Grease. I’m going to keep the big ones in the back until its time.
A while back you told me you had a joint with Lady Gaga from when you were with Akon. Any chance that might pop up sometime?
As long as we do the paperwork, everything could be straight. We want to make it happen. That’s Lady GaGa though, she might take my whole budget.
Were there any cats you were trying to get it that didn’t happen?
Not really. Ain’t nobody like that that I really want on my album. Only person I really wanted to work with was Max B. That’s about it. I got the whole Coke Boys on my album. Ross, Diddy, and Max B so far.
So the Max B joint is something nobody has ever heard?
No, no, never. Yeah, nobody has ever heard it. The song is called “Hey My Guy.” It was a Young Los joint we had did one day in the house. The song was just so crazy that I just saved it. Now, I just got it. It’s tucked in. I knew that was going to be for my album.
