Nicki Minaj Says New Album Represents “Freedom,” Summer Tour Dates to Be Announced
Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded is set for an April 3 release, with more details surrounding the album finally being revealed.
“There’s more surprises this time,” said producer Andrew “Pop” Wansel (“Your Love”). “I think she’s proven, like, ‘Yo, I can rap. I’m probably the best girl to really do this shit ever.’ Now she’s more comfortable and she’s having a little more fun.”
Nicki’s sophomore effort, which she said will represent “FREEDOM,” will feature 22 songs and will possibly include collaborations with Hit-Boy, Ester Dean, Rico Beats and more, with whom she’s been working in the studio.
The Queen Barb recently tweeted to fans:
“I am ABSOLUTELY in LOVE w/this f@%#ing ALBUM!!!!!!! Like!!! AbsoFCNGlutely in LOVE barbz!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Her latest single, “Starships,” which is headed toward setting a new record overseas, is currently #5 on the UK charts and #10 on the Billboard Hot 100.
