Lil Wayne Settles $20 Million Lawsuit Over ‘Lollipop’
After an ongoing battle with former producer Darius “Deezle” Harrison over his song “Lollipop,” Lil Wayne and Cash Money have brought the case to a close and settled out of court.
Deezle first filed the lawsuit against the Young Money rapper after the release of Tha Carter III. The suit claimed that the label failed to pay him for his work on “Lollipop,” as well as other songs from the album and requested $20 million of the $70 million in sales the album brought in.
According to TMZ, while Weezy wasn’t initially planning to cough up the cash, both parties have now reached an agreement and the case has been dismissed.
