While BET’s The Game has been renewed for a 6th season, series star Tia Mowry will no longer be on board.

Shortly before last night’s episode of the hit show, Tia took to Twitter to announce the news that she was ending her role as lead star Melanie Davis.

“Just wanted to let all my fans know that I will not be returning to The Game for season 6,” wrote Tia. “It was an incredible run and I had lots of fun along the way. I am looking forward to my upcoming projects…the release of my book #OhBaby [today!], season 2 of @TiaTameraShow on @mystyle premiering in June, and my @ABCFamily movie coming out in December…more to come!” love u so much.”

Pooch Hall, who co-stars as her husband Derwin Davis, has also been rumored to be making an exit. However, news of his departure has not been confirmed.

The Game’s season finale will air June 5 at 10 p.m.

With no Pooch or Tia, will you still be watching?
