VIBE’s Daily Additions to the ‘Pod 1. Black Hippy – “Black Lip Bastard” (Remix) Bar for bar, Black Hippy prove on this track that they’re definitely the crew to watch for going into this new rap millenium. Looking for non-radio hip-hop? Here you go. 2. Soulja Boy – “Scarface” Uh, no words. Really. no words can describes this…THIS! It’s hard to believe that this dude is really sitting on multi-millions. Smh… 3. Birdman (feat. Rick Ross) – “Born Stunna” If you’re not tired of Rick Ross’s “UGH!” grunt or the Hit-Boy/Drumma Boy inspired beat yet, you’ll enjoy this one—while you stunt of course. 4. Azealia Banks – Jumanji Sounding like a young Foxy on her best day, Azealia goes off on this track! This has us even more excited to see what this newbie comes with officially. 5. Lecrae – Church Clothes [Mixtape]

This tape definitely deserves a full listen before you form an opinion. The dude can surely spit, but Church Clothes starts off sounding very boxed in and predictable. However, once you get to the middle—and get into some of the impeccable production from 9th Wonder, Symbolic One, and Boi-1daLecrae proves to be a promising new talent with some amazing tracks under his belt. Standouts include “The Price Of Life,” “Inspiration,” “Darkest Hour,” “Rise,” and the titled-track “Church Clothes.” 6. Cam’Ron & Vado (feat. Sen City) – “After That Paper” “I get head. I keep my socks on/Eating pop corn/Smoking a blunt while I watch porn, rock on.” Cam’s clever wordplay is exactly why we’re loving these #UNLostFiles releases.
