It’s no secret that within pop culture and R&B, sex sells. Nowadays, starlets are pushing the “bad girl” image to keep up with the pressures of producing high album sales and downloads, generating radio spins and maintaining the relevancy that music execs and pop culture critics praise.
Every generation has had its share of not-so-sweet females artists, and the new bad girls continues to push the envelope. While today’s “it” girl takes the cake (cake, cake…), she certainly isn’t the baddest of them all. However with new technology and social media, what being bad is, has certainly become more visible and impacting both younger and older fans.
