How to Survive Summer School
3. Knock out the general studies courses pronto. Every university requires a set list of courses each student must take to graduate. Get rid of the philosophies, maths and sciences over the summer so that during the fall and spring, you could make room for internships and extracurricular courses. It will feel like an academic weight has lifted off your shoulders.
4. Remember it’s only temporary. Most summer classes do not take the entire summer but are rather concentrated into a tight space of several weeks. In nature, a summer class is somewhat of an accelerated course that squeezes nearly four to five months of material. Remind yourself that it’s towards that goal of graduating (graduating early or finishing grad school for the overachievers). Nothing worth having ever comes easy.
