As the Drake/Chris Brown W.i.P. nightclub fiasco continues to unravel, more and more details seem to be unfolding as to why it all went down in the first place.

Rapper Meek Mill—who was at one point alleged to be the instigator behind the whole situation—spoke exclusively to XXL to tell what he knows to be accurate about the night. He says,“Chris and Drake, them two was there but it’s other people that be around that take shit to the next level. Things just happen in the club. I seen girls in there throwing bottles, all types of shit. All types of people. I never seen Chris Brown or Drake throw a bottle and I was there.”

He denies throwing any bottles himself (replying simply with a “Fuck no.“), and also cleared up the rumored beef between the two—stemming from their war of tweets on Twitter in relation to their involvement with a certain pop diva: Rihanna.

“What [Brown] tweeted was just that me and Meek Mill ain’t got no problem,” Meek said about the misunderstanding. He followed with, “I talked to him immediately after that, on the phone afterwards, like immediately, like, ‘There’s nothing there, this-that-and-the-third.’ Chris Brown be in clubs. He be around situations like this. Things get out of hand that don’t mean it’s out of hand with me and him or whoever, not even him and Drake.”

With W.i.P. now closed down, and Drake being on the radar of the NYPD’s investigation of the brawl, we wonder what other information will pop up in this. Maybe a quote from Rih herself?
