VIBE’s Daily Additions to the ‘Pod

1. Asher Roth – “Turnip The Beet”
The first verse has so much of Eminem’s signature flow that’s it’s almost easy to confuse the two. The boom-bap beat makes for a great sidewalk-freestyle throwback feel here.

2. Tyga (feat. Honey Cocaine) – “King Company”
Honey is interesting to listen to. Her signature baby voice makes words like “yellow bitch” and “broad” sounds super funny when coming out her mouth in raps. This Minaj sample actually goes hard though.

3. Game – “Burn (Remix)”
Game is mad on this joint. We’re feeling the mood.

4. DJ Steph Floss & Dee Goodz – CK & DO Vol. 2 [Mixtape]
With a few strip club anthems here and a few ATL-inspired joint there, Dee Goodz brings something that is definitely dance-worthy, but nothing that will put him on Top 10 lists anytime soon. Tracks like “Underground Queenz” and the Love Don’t Live Here Anymore-sampled “Bros Over Hoes” are stereo blasters for sure.

5. Driicky Graham – Ya Gotta Start Somewhere [Mixtape]
Driicky rocks every track he touches like it’s his last. Don’t miss this tape from the new young gunner!
