Every girl has those moments when she’s over doing her hair or the hair has been so severely manipulated that it’s time for a little damage control.

Here is a list of fashionable protective styles that will allow your hair to rest and grow.

1. Sew In

Sew-ins are a great way to still have the option of free hair. In order for a sew-in to be a protective style you must use human hair and not braid your natural hair so tightly. The awesome thing about sew-ins are you can flat iron, wash, and tease as much as your heart desires.
Note: Use silk thread because it is softer on your hair.
