The nail scene at the Clover Canyon Spring 2013 Presentation was simplicity as its finest. Clover Canyon’s Spring 2013 Collection was inspired by a Southwestern American landscape, so the designer wanted a subtle approach for the nails. We got backstage access as nail artist Gina Edwards curated the looks with imPRESS Press-On Manicure’s High Hopes–a pink pastel color with a slight white gradient tip at the beginning of the nail–and shaped them oval. This is the perfect office-ready look.
Gina also chatted with us about what she thought would be a nail trend for this season. All signs point to DIY. It has certainly been all the craze this season with Vixens and beauty enthusiasts trading in high priced manicures at the salon for their own personal curated designs. She also mentioned the 3-dimensional and textures designs we can expect to see from Kiss Nail dress in the upcoming season.
