Wiz Khalifa Joins Miguel on “Adorn” Remix

Ever since Miguel released “Adorn,” rappers have been jumping on the liquidy track. Busta Rhymes gave it a go with his protege Reek da Villian, and Queens rapper Grafh also attempted his own freestyle to the slow tempo. Now Wiz Khalifa is putting his mark on the smooth love song. Khalifa’s lone verse doesn’t kick in until the halfway point, but the Taylor Gang boss certainly sets the mood when accompanying Miguel on the track. “Sippin’ red wine/ I roll another one up, but then it’s bedtime,” Khalifa sings. “Take one look at my watch, yeah, that’s real time/ Got a lot on my plate, I’m down to share mine.” “Adorn” is the debut single from Miguel’s sophomore album, Kaleidoscope Dream. The R&B singer is releasing the LP in three parts: Kaleidoscope Dream: The Water Preview EP dropped this summer, Kaleidoscope Dream: The Air Preview EP will be released on Sept. 11, while the full-length album comprised of tracks off the two EPs and some more new songs, comes out on Oct. 2. We have a feeling this won’t be the last time we hear someone assisting Miguel as he hits those high notes on “Adorn.” Listen to Wiz Khalifa take a stab at “Adorn” below.
