VIBE’s Daily Additions to the ‘Pod

1. Ab-Soul – “Only 1″
Ab is a beast on the mic, and “Only 1″ just solidifies the fact. Based off the instrumental & overall structure, this track will put you in mind of the Control System standout “Track Two.” However, if you’re familiar with the that song, it’ not a bad comparison in the least bit. This simply goes hard.

2. Chrisette Michele – “Better”
Chrisette’s vocals are crisp and full of power here, but that should be left unsaid if you’re familiar with her work. This song in particular should pop up on her next official album. If so, that project will more than likely rise our great expectations from the R&B chanteuse.

3. OverDoz (feat. Juicy J) – “Lap Dance”
From the lyrics to the trippy artwork, “Lap Dance” is straight up strip club raunchiness at its finest. Overall, this is catchy tune that you’ll catch yourself uncontrollably rapping in your head.

4. Dawn Richard – “Fireflies”
Dawn is slowly trying to give Kelly Rowland a run for her crown as the Queen of the Euro-R&B dancefloor. With the smooth-yet-high-energy sound of “Fireflies,” she might not be too far behind.

5. Snow Tha Product – Good Nights & Bad Mornings (Mixtape)
Good Nights & Bad Mornings is a cohesive project for Snow that’s clearly made for those late-night hipster trap parties. Standouts include the trippy “Good Nights,” the party starter “Hola,” and the mixtape closer “Bad Nights.”
