NBA Players Team Up with Celebrity Chefs For NBA’s Weeklong National Health Initiative
The NBA’s most fit athletes have teamed up with a few celebrity chefs to cook up some healthy options for fans as part of NBA Fit/ Live Healthy Week (Jan. 24 – Feb. 1).
From Jan. 24 to Feb. 1, chefs Rachel Ray, Mario Batali, Dale Talde, Michael Ferraro, Michael Psilakis, Aquiles Chavez and Nikki Shaw will each provide daily recipes (breakfast, lunch and dinner) via FIT Live Healthy Chef Corner. The tasty alternatives, each with a hint of the featured chef’s style, are catered towards the average NBA fan looking to eat healthier. In addition to the menu options listed, the site features tons of nutrition facts and workouts you can do from the comfort of your own home.
The NBA FIT Team also includes players Harrison Barnes (Golden State Warriors), Tyson Chandler (New York Knicks), Goran Dragic (Phoenix Suns), Kevin Love (Minnesota Timberwolves), Wesley Matthews (Portland Trail Blazers), Chandler Parsons (Houston Rockets), and John Wall (Washington Wizards), who have pledged to encourage kids and families to stay active year long.
