Sundance 2013: Sal Masekela & Director Ava DuVernay Honored by Hennessy V.S & The Blackhouse Foundation

Hennessy V.S & The Blackhouse Foundation hosted a private dinner with Bevy Smith, at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Both TV personality Sal Masekela and Sundance 2012 “Best Director” winner Ava DuVernay, who was the first African-American woman to win the award, were honored at the “Dinner With Bevy” event.

Actors Jesse Williams, Dorrian Missick and Coleman Domingo, as well as director George Tillman, Anita Hill and more were on hand to properly celebrate DuVernay’s black independent 2012 film, Middle of Nowhere. Check out a few photos from the event.
