VIBE’s Daily Additions to the ‘Pod

1. Mac Miller (feat. Ab-Soul) – “All The Time”
This cool collaboration is definitely a chill song to kick back to on this Saturday morning/afternoon. Mac switches up the flow a little, but it doesn’t stray away too far from his signature style.

2. R. Kelly – “I Know You Are Hurting (Tribute to the Newtown, CT Kids)”
Kellz heart was definitely in the right place with this one. Much respect, sir—we’re still praying for the Sandy Hook victims & their families along with you.

3. Chinx Drugz (feat. French Montana, Rick Ross & Diddy) – “I’m A Coke Boy (Remix)”
Another one of those remixes where everything’s the same aside from a few added verses. Damn Diddy, what happened to inventing the Remix?

4. Jon B – “Settle Down Type”
It’s great to hear Jon B back on these R&B streets. One thing we noticed about “Settle Down Type” is that he’s not trying to play into the sound of the new generation. This could fit easily into his catologue of stuff from Cool Relax & Pleasures You Like. We’re feeling it.

5. Chi-Ali – “A Million”
Chi-Ali lets off some steam after doing a pretty hefty bid “on the island.” Grabbing one of the best Aaliyah samples ever—and definitely a highlight on Jay-Z’s In My Lifetime—Chi keeps it short, but does the beat justice.
