HTC Unveils New HTC One Smartphone
Today, HTC announced their new flagship smartphone, the HTC One. Engadget reports that the One comes with a variety of fresh features that aim to reinvent the mobile experience. But how does it stack up against the iPhone 5?
Coming in either silver or black, the HTC One’s display resists scratches and reduces glare, while offering a 468ppi resolution. Check a few feature highlights below:
HTC BoomSound: Offers the world’s first front-facing speaker with a sound amplifier that pairs perfectly with the HD screen. Beats Audio is enabled throughout the device.
HTC BlinkFeed: Turns your phone into your own private hub of relevant info streamed on your homescreen. News clips, social media updates, entertainment news and photos will all be available to you at a glimpse, eliminating the need to flip through multiple apps.
HTC UltraPixel Camera with HTC Zoe: Gives users the ability to shoot Hi-Res photos that come alive in three-second snippets when viewed. This feature automatically creates highlight films of each photo session, setting your Zoes, photos and videos to music with cool transitions, cuts and effects. You can change these videos to your liking and share them through social media, email or other services.
You can officially cop an HTC One this March through more than 185 mobile service providers in all major countries.
