MADtv’s Orlando Jones To Star In Fox’s ‘Sleepy Hallow’

Hollywood can always find a place for Orlando Jones. The former MADtv star is back on the scene.

Jones will play Lt. Frank Williams, a no-nonsense detective who transfers to Sleepy Hollow to investigate a double murder. According to Deadline, the show will be a modern-day supernatural thriller based on The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow,” and will be put together by 20th TV and K/O Paper Products.

Jones will play an Ichabod Crane-like character as he partners with Sleepy Hollow’s local female sheriff (Katia Winter, Dexter) to solve the mysteries of a town ravaged by the battle between good and evil.

Fringe’s Alex Kurtzman and Bob Orci will pen the pilot script as well as executive produce, with Phil Iscove also on board to write and serve as a supervising producer. Heather Kadin will exec produce while Len Wiseman will direct the pilot.
