V Playlist: Ricky Hil x The Weeknd, Bilal, Skyzoo, And More

VIBE’s Daily Additions to the ‘Pod

1. Ricky Hil (feat. The Weeknd) – “Nomads”
“Nomads” sounds like a typical Weeknd song—which is pretty much a given, seeing as Abel is featured on the track. Listening closely, the haunting, almost morbid vibe you get from the instrumental synchs perfectly with the lyrics. Support Your Local Drug Dealer is available to download now by clicking [HERE].

2. Bilal – “West Side Girl”
This is Bilal in his element—which comes off sounding, cool, funky, and most importantly comfortable. Overall, we’re jamming along with him on this one.

3. Skyzoo – “Grew Up On Kool-Aid”
Sky’s flow is always on point. It’s one of the main reasons why he’s so respected among the underground hip-hop scene. “Grew Up On Kool-Aid” is just another example of that. Besides, how many of us can relate with the song title? All hands should be raised right now.

4. Brianna Perry (feat. Pusha T) – “Red Cup”
With the catchy chorus, a nice set of bars from Brianna, and Pusha T coming through with a quick 16 or so himself, we can see this hitting off in the clubs. It’s not one of T’s best verses, but it’s still respectable nonetheless.

5. Seth Narley – “Addiction”
Shoutout to Friday Tha 13th for the smooth low-rider instrumental. The Chanel Rap mixtape drops soon, so look out for that.
