Miguel Set To Perform On ‘SNL’ For First Time
Miguel is having the best year ever. The Grammy-winning soul star is scheduled to perform on Saturday Night Live April 13, the popular sketch comedy show announced today (March 12). Following recent appearances from performers like Frank Ocean, Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars, SNL took to Twitter to announce that Miguel is next up to bat. The 27-year-old L.A. native recently released the visuals to “Candle in the Sun” and begins his world tour with Alicia Keys tonight at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Vince Vaughn will accompany Miguel on the evening, returning to the set for the second time as host. Miguel will perform two songs on SNL (we vote for “Drugs” as one), but no word on whether or not he’ll appear in a sketch.
Excited to say #VinceVaughn is returning to host #SNL with first-time musical guest, @miguelunlimited on April 13th!! tinyurl.com/cl47d4a
