Vixen Chat: Carly Rae Jepsen Talks Coca-Cola Perfect Harmony Program
Carly Rae Jepsen penned infectious pop tune “Call Me Maybe,” but now she wants aspiring artists to help her create and perform another hit. Through American Idol‘s partnership with Coca-Cola’s eight-week Perfect Harmony competition, the 27-year-old songwriter is giving participants the opportunity to be a part of her AI performance during the finale show. Every week–via a video series–music lovers, style gurus and design enthusiasts will get to choose all aspects of her performance, including the lyrics, dancers’ costumes and stage details.
On Wednesday, May 15, during the first hour of the two-hour season 12 finale, viewers can watch the live show as Jepsen sings the winning lyrics on the fan-designed stage.
Vixen got the chance to talk to the Grammy-nominated songbird on her thoughts of the initiative as well as her hopes for her fans choices. Read on at VIBE Vixen.
