Beyoncé Struggles to Choose Single From New Album, Not ‘Grown Woman’
There’s one thing Beyoncé’s beyhive and naysayers can agree on: A new single from the super rich singer is long overdue.
But “I Been On/Bow Down” will stay on playlist a little bit longer, since the songstress can’t decide which single to shoot off as lead from her upcoming album. Despite kicking off The Mrs. Carter World Tour, the project does not have a release date or lead track. “The first single was supposed to be Grown Woman,” a source tells Perez Hilton. “That got cancelled and used a teaser for her new Pepsi ad.”
“Beyonce is a perfectionist and her biggest competition is herself. She won’t put anything out as her first single until she’s 100% sure it will be a classic.”
She wants her next single to be “of Single Ladies calibre”–a tall order but attainable for the hardworking, show-stopping performer. Maybe she’ll surprise us and drop the single as a collab track with Luke James when he accompanies her on the Euro leg of her tour.
Only time will tell.
