Carmelo Anthony has been on LeBron James’ heels all season, and now the Knicks star small forward has claimed a number one spot from the reigning NBA Champion: the top-selling jersey. As per the NBA, basketball fans are purchasing the New York Knicks No. 7 more than any other player’s jersey in the league, placing James at number two.

The ranking reflects sales from the NBA’s NYC flagship store, as well as the association’s online shop. Originally ranking fourth on the jersey list, Anthony now leads James as well as the Thunder’s Kevin Durant, Lakers’ Kobe Bryant and the Bull’s Derrick Rose to round out the top five jerseys in the league. Sales for Durant’s jersey slipped from second most popular jersey upon Anthony’s claim for the top spot as well. Bryant, who has topped the list a whopping seven times, has also dropped a spot. Anthony’s Knicks have also been the top-selling team since the beginning of 2012-13 season, with the Heat, Lakers, Nets and Bull lagging behind for the top five spots.

The New York Knicks, who have been having quite the season, are currently riding on a 12-win streak, and will look to get their 13th win tonight (Apr. 9) against the Washington Wizards. The team is also clenching the No. 2 spot in the East behind James’ Miami Heat.
