The stars were out as NBA teams went head to head for the playoffs this past weekend.
While Jay-Z may have ended his reign as owner of the Brooklyn Nets, the BK spitter still retained his court side privileges.
Hov was spotted on the sidelines of Game 1 of the Nets versus the Chicago Bulls at the Barclays Center alongside Roc Nation exec Ty Ty.
He took to his Life + Times blog to make the announcement that his focus would shift to his new passion project, Roc Nation Sports.
“My job as an owner is over but as a fan it has just begun,” he said. “I’m a Brooklyn Net forever.”
Meanwhile, Rihanna and bestie Melissa Forde hit up the Heat game after popping her cherry at the King of Diamonds strip club following her 4/20 concert in Miami the previous night.
The “Diamonds” singer–who repped MIA’s home team with Heat spectacles and LeBron James’ jersey–was featured in Turner Sports’ latest spot, showcasing the Unapologetic cut “Right Now” and the leagues’s finest including James, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Stephen Curry, Deron Williams and Marc Gasol.
