Jay-Z’s new track “100$ Bill” opens the soundtrack for Baz Luhrmann’s upcoming Great Gatsby film, which the rapper also curated. Today, a snippet of Jay-Z’s new track made its way online.

Warning: The beat is hard. Jay-Z incorporates the Roaring Twenties of author F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “Great American Novel” in his lyrics, shouting out prohibition, the fictional Long Island setting of East Egg and lines from Luhrmann’s 3D film adaptation.

“New heroines, new Marilyns, move coke… through Maryland, through East Egg or you beastin’,” Jay-Z raps.

The Great Gatsby opens in theaters on May 10, while the rest of Jigga’s music supervising skills will be made public on May 7, when the soundtrack drops. The soundtrack also includes contributions from Beyonce, Andre 3000, Jack White, Gotye, Q-Tip, Florence + The Machine, The xx, will.i.am, Fergie, Emeli Sandé, Nero, Sia and Lana Del Rey.
