VIBE TV: French Montana Talks Scarface, Ne-Yo Collaborations on ‘Excuse My French’

French Montana’s Excuse My French studio debut is easily one of hip-hop’s most anticipated albums of 2013. Even the NYC rapper is calling it “one of the hottest albums to drop outta the East Coast in about a decade.”

VIBE caught up with French at his recent tour closer at the House of Blues in Los Angeles, where the Mac & Cheese devotee told us folklore about his Whore Bus (the pet name for his tour bus) and the new features on Excuse My French. (Sadly, the Whore Bus didn’t make it into the video.) While the “Pop That” rapper isn’t short of features on his new album, his next single goes down a different route.

“The next single is called ‘I Ain’t Worried About Nothing … It’s me by myself,” says French. “I wanted to give something for the people who always thought I needed a feature. I’m doing a record by myself.”

“I Ain’t Worried About Nothing” surfaces on April 19, while French Montana’s Excuse My French debut drops on May 21.
