From the great beyond, Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer team up to allure the international market in this French trailer for The Lone Ranger.

Possibly because of the charismatic cinephiles’ allure to the global audience but the emphasis shifts back to Tonto in the clip. An added element of the film’s big action setpieces are displayed, and it’s starting to look like the mega-expensive blockbuster it is. You can hear the homages to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise as Depp’s character explains to John Reid (Armie Hammer) why he has been chosen in this mission to bring down Butch Cavendish (William Fichtner).

Aiming to restore balance to the Old West, the second international trailer finds the rebellious Indian warrior mold John into a symbol for truth, justice and the hilarious way as they ride across the plains searching for action and adventure.

Director Gore Verbinski could be on his way to creating his second-best out-West film after the much lauded Rango. The Lone Rangers hopes to lasso audiences into theaters July 3rd, 2013 and also stars Tom Wilkinson, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale and James Frain.
