We have a new batch of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 pics to show you that feature Paul Giamatti as Rhino.

All the images are pre-CGI, which means there are quite a few elements missing from Giamatti’s costume. As you can tell from the photo above, digital artists will be charged with turning the award-winning actor into a raging villain. Once those blanks are filled in, Spider-Man fans will have a lot to be excited for after filming has wrapped.

Regardless of how incomplete the costume might be, it’s cool to see Paul Giamatti getting deep into character for director Marc Webb’s highly anticipated Spidey sequel. The good guys at SuperHero Hype have a few set pics that find New York’s favorite neighborhood good guy taunting Rhino while on a rampage by calling him a “mechanized hippopotamus.”

A few of the other pictures feature the web-head interacting with a child dressed up like Spider-Man, and even engaging in a fist-bump. To keep up to date with the latest and greatest with The Amazing Spider-Man 2, check out Webb’s Twitter page, a constant stream of behind-the-scenes photos from the set.
