Donald Trump Is Still Picking On Mac Miller

Mac Miller’s odd relationship with real estate mogul Donald Trump took another turn for the worse recently, after Trump took to Twitter to denounce Mac’s upcoming album Watching Movies With The Sound Off. Their cyber-feud began earlier this year, when Trump threatened to teach Mac a “big boy lesson about lawsuits and finance.” Trump was apparently angered after being notified of the rapper’s 2011 hit song off his Best Day Ever mixtape, which is humorously titled after the Apprentice producer. “Little Mac Miller,” he wrote. “You illegally used my name for your song ‘Donald Trump’ which now has over 75 million hits and Little Mac Miller, I want the money not the plaque you gave me!” Miller recently settled a $10 million lawsuit with producer Lord Finesse and while no legal action has taken place between him and Trump, Trump continues to badger the 21-year-old rapper via the Internet. His most recent quip predicts Mac’s upcoming album may “bomb” since Trump’s brand name will not be involved.

Mac did not respond to the tweets. His pristine first LP, Blue Slide Park, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, selling over 145,000 copies upon its release. Mac’s follow-up, Watching Movies With The Sound Off is set to feature Tyler, the Creator, Schoolboy Q and Action Bronson with production by Pharell Williams, Diplo and others.
