Los Angeles Laker Says He’s Not Watching NBA Finals

As the world locks into the last round of the NBA Finals’ showdown between the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs, one basketball star reveals that he’s tuned out.

Los Angeles Laker Dwight Howard, who’s had a rough season transitioning from Orlando Magic (remember his game ejection?), told TMZ that the championship games are nowhere on his priority list.

“I’m not watching,” the pending free agent said. “I’m not playing so ain’t no need to be [watching].”

Dwight allegedly sat away from a TV during the game while dining at Crustacean in Beverly Hills Tuesday night (June 18) and when asked if it would be tough to watch, he replied, “Yeah, I don’t want to see nobody win a championship.”

Let’s hope his future team doesn’t agree. —Nina Marrissa (@NinaMarrissa)
