We all know that Big Blue would be coming back to the big screen, but now, he’ll have a caped co-star which is sure to blow up the Internets again!

San Diego’s Comic Con 2013 went down as one of the best ever, as the legendary Hall H served as hallow ground for the next slate of action-packed adventures. With Marvel rolling out its Phase Two initiative, DC Comics and Warner Bros. strikes back hard with an interesting premiere of their own.

Man of Steel director Zack Snyder made a surprise guest appearance at the Con this past Saturday to announce that he is, indeed, making another Superman film. The kicker will be that it will include the Dark Knight, Batman, which made so many nerds lose their lunch way back in 2007 when it was only but an easter egg.

Declining to reveal any details other than the script is being written by himself and David S. Goyer (Batman Begins), the untitled crossover film is eying a 2015 release date. You can watch the video yourself below. Please keep in mind that it may be NSFW (Not Safe For Work):

The actor to pick up the cape and cowl has not yet been cast, but Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Laurence Fisburne and Diane Lane will all return to their Man of Steel roles. Who do you think will play the Caped Crusader? Stay tuned!
