Drake Hits the Studio With Hit-Boy
Drake hit the studio with Hit-Boy over the weekend in Toronto. The producer — known for building recent hits like Beyonce’ “Bow Down / I Been On,” G.O.O.D Music’s “Clique” and Kendrick Lamar’s “Backseat Freestyle” — shared a photo of Drizzy and his resident producer Noah “40” Shebib in the studio with the hashtag “OVOHS87 #somewhereintoronto.” All clues point to the bunch working on something for Drake’s next LP, Nothing Was The Same, due Sept. 17.
“Drake be making some tight music. That’s one artist who’s album i wanna be on one day,” Hit-Boy tweeted back in 2012. Apart from his feature on Justin Bieber’s “Right Here,” Hit-Boy and Drake have not collaborated on any tunes in the past.
