If you’ve been living under a music news rock, here’s some quick catch-up. A couple weeks ago, Forbes reported that the International Music Summit valued The Electronic Music Industry at $4.5 billion dollars. Robert Sillerman acquired the nation’s most influential rock concert promoters and sold them to Clear Channel for $4.4 billion in the ’90s. Clear Channel then spawned Live Nation, the world’s largest music promotion company.
