University Application Asks Prospective Students What YOLO Means To Them

Even with a high school-level education, Drake still schooled universities by appearing in the essay question for a college application. Tufts University in Boston asked prospective students to craft their best 250 to 300 words for what Drizzy’s favorite acronym Y.O.L.O. means to them. In the third section of the writing portion, applicants must answer the following:

The ancient Romans started it when they coined the phrase “Carpe diem.” Jonathan Larson proclaimed “No day but today!” and most recently, Drake explained You Only Live Once (YOLO). Have you ever seized the day? Lived like there was no tomorrow? Or perhaps you plan to shout YOLO while jumping into something in the future. What does #YOLO mean to you?

There’s even a hashtag (!). When it comes to higher learning in this day and age, crazy how nothing is the same.
