Chris Brown Ponders Retirement in Latest Twitter Post
While Chris Brown’s new music has garnered critical acclaim, the same can’t be said for his personal antics. The troubled singer took to his Twitter yesterday (August 7) to reveal that the upcoming X album might be his last.
“Being famous is amazing when it’s for ur music and talent. I’m tired for being famous for a mistake I made when I was 18. I’m cool & over it,” the singer lamented.
“Don’t worry mainstream America. After this X album, it’ll probably be my last album.”
While artists frequently threaten retirement only to continue working, Brown’s latest remarks are a painful reminder that a celebrity’s actions, good or bad, ultimately decide their legacy.
